1988 classic Amiga game - flight simulators
The F/A-18 Hornet, a multi-role aircraft of the US Navy, is represented in this game solely as an interceptor. The operating area is San Francisco and the nearby bay, where players can choose from five different missions (from escorting Air Force One to pursuing next-generation fighters stolen by the Russians). The game may not be stunning (especially considering its age), but it’s truly ideal for players taking their first steps in the world of flight simulators – it has quite good flight mechanics, allows them to fly over objects on the map, and take off from both land-based airfields and aircraft carrier.
