1995 classic Amiga game - football management games
A very interesting and original game. The simulation is based on a non-existent league (structured very similarly to the Scottish league), in which the top teams include Marwick Rangers, Chipley City, and Porton Town. The program stands out from the crowd by incorporating several features that positively impact the game’s atmosphere. For example, every now and then you have to water a flower on your desk, or it will wither; in the event of a transfer to or from the club, a journalist calls you to confirm the information (which you’ll soon be able to read about in the newspaper on your desk); transfer negotiations are handled by calling the club’s manager; and in the basket on your desk, you find letters from fans almost daily, suggesting players worth signing, requesting team photos, or sending compliments (not necessarily just appreciation). Another interesting fact is that during the game (i.e. if our team’s match is selected as the "Match of the Week") the player can decide the result of the match using the joystick (the match engine from the football game Retee 2 was used here).
