Hill Street Blues Classic Amiga game

1991 classic Amiga game -

A game based on a very popular police series, set in one of the big American cities.

It probably won’t surprise anyone if I say now that in this game we are in charge of a police station. We have several patrol cars, several detectives (those who appeared in the series) and a patch to deal with. After a crime is being reported, we can immediately send one of our top men (or women) to investigate. On the spot, we can wander around as much as we want - accosting passers-by, comparing them with descriptions of criminals, possibly arresting them, sometimes we even have to chase suspects. The only problem is that the detectives don’t work alone - the player has to control several of them at once if they don’t want the district to go to the dogs. Apart from that, it’s best to prepare a map of the area, because in the reports we only get information that, for example, a theft occurred at the office building of company X.

The setting is not bad, but it doesn’t stand out in any way either. We have a lot of freedom of action and can travel around the city on foot or by car as much as we want - this is a big plus.
