1991 classic Amiga game -
The quite successful game of Bundesliga Manager, by Jens Onnen and Werner Krahe, was so popular in the early 90’s that they also released a game called The Manager, simulating the English league, which over time gained a fame greater than its original. The idea is quite typical for games from that period - regardless of whether you choose a leading club (f.e. Manchester United in England) or a small one (f.e. Leyton Orient), you always start your adventure in the third league and slowly try to climb up. The game offers quite a lot of options for managing the club and thanks to the nice animations illustrating the playing of the match, it is a worthy position.
