1989 classic Amiga game - simulators

688 is the designation of the American Los Angeles class nuclear submarines, belonging to the so-called attack submarines type, which means that their main target is to fight with other warships (it is the equivalent of fighter planes). This game, as you can guess, simulates such boat, and his Soviet counterpart - the Alfa class submarine.

You can choose from several missions taking place in various places of the world, but generally they are similiar - sneak to the target as quiet as you can and destroy it before you are detected. Anyone who likes something like that certainly will not disappointed - the game very faithfully simulates all aspects of the submarine warfaret (including whales, which can confuse the novice commanders).

The game does not look stunning, but on the simulation side it is really top quality.
