The Lone Detectivefree online detective game
1996 classic Amiga game - football management games
Italian soccer manager game that simulated 3 different leagues (English, Italian and Spanish) plus a fantasy league (with teams from those three countries mixed together). While the basic concept was similar to classic Championship Manager the game was a mixture of different styles and different elements that looked like they were patched together without an overall concept. We run a club in one of the 4 divisions, but the number of options available is limited in some parts. We can set up the training plan for a week, make basic transfers (from local or foreign transfer list), stadium expansion, player contract extensions, select team for the match and the formation, also bank loan options are available. All of it sounds good, but unfortunately the main part of the game, which is the team and the matches could have been done better. The interface gives a list of the players, but we can look through their data only when we take a look at their details, so the data we need to select the team or make a substitution during the match are actually hidden and we have to click several times to find the data we are looking for. Overall a simple game inspired by Championship Manager with slightly incoherent interface - on some screens the texts are the links to data, on others they look like buttons, but the main screen has zones leading to particular screens (similar to f.e. Anstoss), but there are no infos that cursor is on one of those zones or where they lead to.
