1995 classic Amiga game - economy games
Economy simulation that puts us in charge of company manufacturing airships (often simply called the Zeppelins) and have a stab at the early 20th century air transportation market. If you want to believe the reality of Zeppelin games the airships were used by the capitalists to conquer the air. We start with single airship (rather simple), we can sign a sponsorship deal (our airship will carry the name of the sponsor on the side) and we can sell tickets or collect money for cargos. From that point we can send the Zeppelin to first destination - we have available the biggest European cities of the early 20th century and when we develop the larger and better airships the biggest cities on other continents. We can also take part in the auctions to win the government orders, which will slow down the growth of our own company, but at the same time we can make some good money (if we reach good price). For promotional reasons we could try to break the records of longest flights, but it is also possible we will just read in the paper where the wreck of our airship was found on the way to break the record. The graphic side of the game is quite impressive - every element was stylized to show the early 20th century look, the creators also tangled some elements about every day lives from that era, but unfortunately (or for some fortunately) the game was developed in Germany and German economic games were famous for being ridiculously hard to master - it is quite an achievement of you will last few years in the business of Zeppelin transportation.
