1994 classic Amiga game -
The game is an extension to Anstoss / On the Ball (there is also the possibility to convert files from those games and use them in the World Cup Edition). As the title suggests we do not take part in the league games, but play the role of the national team manager in the qualifications for the World Cup. Of course the available options are completely different than in the original games - we have a set of players available for the entire qualifiers and eventual tournament, so obviously the transfer options are missing, and all our attention is focused only on the matches of the national team. We can use our scouts to watch rivals in the group, we can organize courses for the players and... that is about it during the qualifiers. The tournament itself is a completely different story - we have to plan the calendar for each day of our team to keep players in the highest form and at the same time to fulfil the obligations of contacts with the media and providing rest to players. The game, despite the fact that is copy of Anstoss, is very original, and the set of options allows you to forget yourself in the atmosphere. The only downside is playing the matches - it is exactly the same as in the original games, which unfortunately is not enough. Playing more than 30 games in the league season makes it easier to observe the behaviour of your players than when we have them available only for a few matches and do not even have detailed statistics from those games...
